Spanish 1
Course Summary
Master the basics of speaking and reading Spanish. Students start with greetings, the alphabet, and numbers before learning basic vocabulary and grammar skills for describing a variety of topics, including one’s home, physical characteristics, school, social networks, and transportation. Learn about major holidays and cultural celebrations, as well as understand and respond to simple commands and questions. In this course, students participate in technology-assisted interactive sessions throughout the term, engaging in spontaneous discussions in Spanish alongside prompt instructor support and feedback.
This class is taught in Spanish and English.
