Free for CA public school teachers
California public school teachers access Plus courses for free. Private school, out-of-state, and homeschool teachers can also request a Plus course for a small, per-student fee.

Empowering teachers
Our Plus plan empowers you, the teacher, to use the bundled UC Scout curriculum as-is or modify it to meet your students’ learning needs and your personal instruction preferences.*
If you request a Plus course as a credentialed or approved teacher, you will receive:
- Pre-recorded and professionally produced video lessons
- Tests, quizzes, and assignments
- Answer keys, grading rubrics, and other teacher-facing resources
- Learning Management System functionality, including the gradebook
- Lab experiment instructions, for science courses
Course management made easy
You, as the teacher, are able to customize* the curriculum or settings (optional) and set the course start and end dates. You will also grade all assignments and assessments, support your students through the course, and work with your school to issue a final grade and credit.
* Please note that modifying the course by removing or significantly altering included curriculum materials may render the course no longer accredited, subject standards-aligned, and/or A-G/NCAA approved.
