Spanish 2
Course Summary
Building on Spanish 1, develop conversational competency by discussing familiar topics such as celebrations, technology, real-life situations, cultural awareness, and more. Students expand vocabulary and grammar related to a variety of topics, including shopping, movies, texting, email, cooking, geography, and trip planning. In this course, students participate in technology-assisted interactive sessions throughout the term, engaging in spontaneous discussions in Spanish alongside prompt instructor support and feedback.
This class is taught mostly in Spanish with English scaffolds.
Course Prerequisite(s):
Spanish 1 (in the case of native or heritage speakers, there may be a different pathway of study leading to this course)
